Children’s Sewing Series – 4 Week Course
Featuring patterns by Red Creek Kids

Tuesday mornings -10am -12 noon

25th August, 1st September, 8th September, 15th September

A gentle and rewarding introduction to garment sewing, this four-week series is designed for those who would love to create beautiful, handmade clothing for little ones — whether you’re just beginning or building on existing skills.

Working with the thoughtfully designed patterns from Red Creek Kids, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of making children’s garments in a supportive and calm environment. Beginners will be carefully supported through each stage, while those with some experience can move at their own pace and extend their skills.

Across the four weeks, you can expect to complete 2–4 pieces, depending on your experience and sewing rhythm.

Over the four weeks, we will explore:
– Getting comfortable with your sewing machine (for beginners)
– Understanding children’s patterns and sizing
– Fabric selection and preparation
– Simple construction techniques for small garments
– Finishing details for a beautiful, wearable result
– Building confidence to continue sewing at home

With their timeless silhouettes and practical design, Red Creek Kids patterns lend themselves to pieces that are both wearable and enduring — garments to be loved, handed down, and worn again.

You’ll leave with a small collection of handmade clothing, along with the skills and confidence to continue creating for the little people in your life.
